"I Don't Need A WebSite, I Have Plenty of Business"

I often hear from attorneys that they do not need to market their services because they have all the clients they can handle and besides, they say, "I never get any work from the Internet anyway".  Of course not!!  Nobody can find them online so how will they get any work from online.

So what are the benefits of having an effective presence online??  Well for one, potential clients who have been referred to you can "Google" you and learn more about you and what you can offer them.  I can tell you this, if they are looking you up online and cannot find anything or what they find is very minimal then you may have lost business as a result.

Also, something very important to consider, 10's of thousands of people in Colorado are looking for attorneys in all practice areas every month.  If they cannot find you then I can guarantee they are going to find another attorney online.  I know that most attorneys do not want to more work but what I hear quite often is how they would like a greater pool of potential clients to pick from.  Having an effective presence online can absolutely do that for an attorney's practice.  An effective presence online can serve as a very three dimensional  view of that attorney online all other forms of marketing and advertising.  Yellow pages and newspaper and even T.V. offer a two dimensional view of attorneys and can only offer so much information in such a limited media.  Why not offer the potential clients as much information as possible?  Why not show these potential clients how you can help them with their issues?
